Usage:
start by:
a) remove auxiliary water pump drive
1. Remove bolt (2) and bearing retainer (1).
2. Install tool group (A) as shown.
3. Make the gear (4) and bearing (3) hot using a torch. Remove the gear and bearing with tool group (A).
4. Remove gear (5) and spacer (6) from the drive housing.
5. Remove the bearing retaining ring (17).
6. Remove the bearing and shaft from the drive housing.
7. Remove the woodruff key from the shaft.
8. Remove the bearing from the shaft using a press.
Assemble Auxiliary Water Pump Drive
1. Heat the two bearings and gear to a temperature of 300°F (149°C).
2. Install one bearing (1) on the shaft (2), and install the woodruff key.
3. Install the shaft and bearing in the drive housing.
4. Install the bearing retaining ring (3).
5. Install gear (4) and spacer (5) on the shaft.
6. Install gear (6) on the shaft with the convex side (curved out side) in the direction of gear (4).
7. Install the second bearing (8), retainer (7), and bolt (9).
