Oil Cooler And Filter Base

Usage:

Remove Oil Cooler And Filter Base

1. Remove engine coolant.

2. Remove the oil filter case (3) and element.

3. Remove the water supply line (1), for the exhaust manifold, from the oil cooler.

4. Remove the oil supply line (5) from the oil cooler.

5. Remove the oil outlet line (4) from the oil cooler.

6. Remove the hose clamps (2) from the water inlet line.

7. Remove the bolts that fasten the oil cooler to the cylinder block.

8. Remove the oil cooler and filter base. Weight 40 lbs. (18,1 kg).

Install Oil Cooler And Filter Base

1. Put the oil cooler and filter base in position on the engine. Install the three fastening bolts.

2. Install the oil outlet line (2).

3. Install the oil supply line (5).

4. Install the water supply line (3), for the exhaust manifold, on the oil cooler.

5. Put the hose in position on the water inlet line, and install the hose clamps (1).

6. Install the oil filter element and case (4) on the filter base.

7. Fill the engine cooling system with coolant.

8. After engine is started check engine oil level.
