Usage:
1. Remove the plug (4) and let water run out.
2. Remove the water outlet line (2) from the water pump.
3. Remove the water inlet line from the water pump.
4. Remove the water pump mounting bolts (1).
5. Remove the water pump (3).
Install Auxiliary Water Pump
1. Put the water pump in position on the engine and install the mounting bolts.
2. Install the water inlet line on the water pump.
3. Install the water outlet line on the water pump.
4. Install the plug in the water pump.
Disassemble Auxiliary Water Pump
start by:
a) remove auxiliary water pump
1. Remove the four fastening nuts (3), and remove the impeller housing (2).
2. Remove the fastening nut (5) and washer for the drive gear. Remove the drive gear (4), woodruff key (11), and spacer (12).
3. Remove the bearing retaining ring (10).
4. Loosen the impeller fastening nut (1) until it is even with the end of the shaft.
5. Push the shaft out of the impeller, using a press as shown.
6. Remove the impeller fastening nut, impeller, spring, woodruff key (6), and impeller shim (7).
7. Remove the shaft (14) and bearings from the pump housing (13).
8. Remove the bearings and spacer from the shaft, using a press.
9. Remove the carbon part of the seal assembly from the pump housing.
10. Remove the ceramic ring and rubber seal from the pump housing.
11. Remove the slinger (8) from the pump housing.
12. Remove the oil seal (9) from the pump housing.
Assemble Auxiliary Water Pump
1. Install the oil seal in the pump housing, using tool group (A). Install the seal with the spring side toward the bearings.
2. Install the slinger in the pump housing.
3. Install the rubber seal (1) and ceramic ring (2) in the pump housing. Install the ceramic ring with the shiny side toward the impeller.

Do not put any kind of oil or grease on the ceramic and carbon seal assembly. Use only water when installing the seal assembly. |
4. Install the bearings and spacer on the shaft, using a press.
5. Install the shaft and bearing assembly in the pump housing, and install the bearing retaining ring.
6. Install the carbon part (3) of the seal assembly.
7. Install the shim (4) for the impeller.
8. Install the woodruff key, spring (5), impeller (6), and impeller fastening nut.
9. Install the spacer, woodruff key, drive gear (7), washer and fastening nut (8).
10. Install impeller housing and fastening nuts.

Remove Auxiliary Water Pump Drive
start by:
a) remove auxiliary water pump
1. Remove oil supply line (2).
2. Remove mounting bolts (1).
3. Remove the auxiliary water pump drive.
Install Auxiliary Water Pump Drive
1. Put the auxiliary water pump drive in position on the engine and install the fastening bolts.
2. Install the oil supply line.
