Usage:
start by:
a) separation of governor from governor drive
1. Remove the control shaft retaining pin (3).
2. Remove the lever retaining nut and bolt (4).
3. Remove the control shaft (2), lever (5), and shaft (1) from the housing.
4. Remove the gear retaining bolt (8).
5. Remove the gear (7) and governor drive shaft (6).
6. Remove the seal (9), and control shaft bearings from the housing.
Assemble Governor Drive
1. Install the control shaft bearings and seal (5) in the housing.
2. Install the drive shaft (1) in the housing, and install the gear (2) and retaining bolt (3) on the drive shaft.
3. Install the control shaft, lever, and shaft into the housing. Be sure slot (4) in the lever comes in contact with notch (6) in the shaft, when the parts are assembled.
4. Install the control shaft retaining pin (8).
5. Install the lever retaining nut and bolt (7). Tighten bolt (7) to 23 ± 4 lb.ft. (3,2 ± 0,6 mkg).
