G343 ENGINE Caterpillar

1. Remove spark plug cover and wire (1).

2. Using socket (A), remove spark plug.

Install Spark Plugs

1. Using socket (A), install spark plug and tighten to a torque of 18 lb. ft. (2,5 mkg).

2. Install spark plug cover and wire.

Remove Valve Cover

1. Remove all spark plug wires, rubber covers and insulators.

2. Disconnect oil pressure gauge line.

3. Remove mounting bolts. Lay instrument panel aside.

4. Remove rubber boots (1) from plug adapters.

5. Remove valve cover (2).

Install Valve Cover

1. Position valve cover on engine and install rubber boots.

2. Position instrument panel and install mounting bolts.

3. Connect oil pressure gauge line.

4. Install spark plug wires, rubber covers and insulators.
