Usage:
1. Remove the air cleaner cover and element.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly mounting bands (1).
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly (2) and adapter.
Install Air Cleaner Housing
1. Install the adapter (3) on the turbocharger.
2. Install the air cleaner assembly on the adapter (3) to provide .25 in. (6,4 mm) clearance between the inside lip (2) of the air cleaner assembly and the face (1) of the adapter.
3. Install the mounting bands.
4. Install the air cleaner element and cover.
Remove Turbocharger
preparatory step:
a) remove air cleaner housing
1. Disconnect pressure differential regulator sensing line (3) from turbocharger air outlet tube assembly. Remove tube assembly (1) and elbow (2).
2. Remove exhaust elbow (8) and pressure differential regulator bypass pipe (4).
3. Remove turbocharger oil drain line (6).
4. Disconnect turbocharger oil supply line (7).
5. Remove turbocharger mounting nuts (5).
6. Remove turbocharger-weight 40 lbs. (18 kg).
