Oil Cooler

Usage:

Remove Oil Cooler

1. Drain the engine cooling system.

2. Drain the oil from the oil cooler.

3. Remove the oil cooler oil inlet elbow retaining bolts (2).

4. Remove the oil cooler oil outlet pipe (1).

5. Remove the oil cooler-to-support bracket mounting nut (5).

6. Remove the oil cooler-to-flywheel housing retaining bolts (3).

7. Remove the oil cooler (4) and bonnet (6) as a unit-weight 50 lbs. (23 kg).

8. Remove the water elbow outlet bonnet from the oil cooler.

Install Oil Cooler

1. Install the oil cooler water outlet bonnet (1) on the oil cooler.

2. Position the oil cooler on the engine, and install mounting bolts.

3. Install the oil cooler oil outlet pipe.

4. Install the oil cooler oil inlet elbow retaining bolts.

5. Fill the cooling system. Start the engine and check the oil level.
