Use Correct Torque On Hydraulic Fittings{7554,5057}

There have been some problems with oil leakage around hydraulic fittings. Most of the time the leakage is caused by the fittings not being tightened to the correct torque value. Too much or not enough torque can cause leakage around the fittings. The chart which follows has our recommendations for flared and O-ring fitting torque values.
This type of chart is currently used in Service Manuals. Some of the torque values from the former chart have been changed to decrease leakage. The new chart and other information about assembly of flared fittings will be added to new and revised Service Manuals.
