Exhaust Manifold

Usage:

Remove Exhaust Manifold

start by:

a) remove turbocharger

1. Put an identification mark on each wire and screw of the magneto.

2. Remove the wires (5) from the magneto.

3. Remove the conduit clamp (2). Disconnect wire (3) from the reset switch.

4. Remove the spark plug wires from the transformers. Remove the transformers and wiring as a unit.

5. Remove the outlet elbow (1) for the manifold cooling water.

6. Remove the water inlet line (4) from the exhaust manifold.

7. Remove the manifold fastening nuts and remove the exhaust manifold-weight 65 lb. (29,5 kg).

Install Exhaust Manifold

1. Put 9M3710 Anti-Sieze Compound on the threads of the manifold studs. Put the exhaust manifold into position on the engine.

2. Install the manifold fastening nuts and washers, and tighten them to 40 ± 4 lb.ft. (5,5 ± 0,5 mkg).

3. Install the water outlet elbow.

4. Install the water inlet line on the exhaust manifold.

5. Install the transformers and wiring on the exhaust manifold. Install the spark plug wirings on the transformers.

6. Connect the reset switch wire, and install the conduit clamp on the manifold.

7. Install the wires on the magneto.
