Carburetor

Usage:

Remove Carburetor

1. Remove the gas inlet line (2) from the carburetor.

2. Remove the air inlet pipe (1) from the carburetor.

3. Remove the carburetor control linkage (3) from the carburetor.

4. Remove the carburetor fastening bolts, and remove the carburetor.

Install Carburetor

1. Put the carburetor (1) into position on the engine and install the fastening bolts.

2. Install the control linkage on the carburetor. See TESTING AND ADJUSTING for correct angles of the carburetor control linkage.

3. Install the air inlet pipe on the carburetor.

4. Install the gas inlet line on the carburetor.

Disassemble Carburetor

start by:

a) remove carburetor

1. Remove the cover (1), spring (2), and diaphragm assembly (3) from the carburetor.

2. Remove the throttle plate fastening screws (5), throttle plate (4), and control shaft (6).

3. Remove the shaft seals (7), and bearings from the carburetor.

4. Remove the idle screw and spring.

Assemble Carburetor

1. Install the bearings (1) and seals for the control shaft.

2. Install the idle screw (4) and spring.

3. Install the control shaft (2) and throttle plate (3).

4. Install diaphragm assembly (5), spring and cover on the carburetor.

a) install carburetor
