PROBLEM
The existing 345-2179 Steering Hose and 431-3850 Fan Hose on certain 797F and 797F XQ Off-Highway Trucks can rub on each other if not properly oriented. If the existing hoses rub, it can cause an external hydraulic oil leak. |

This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer. |

Loosen the 345-2179 and 431-3850 Hose Assembly connections at the pumps. Reorient hose and end fittings to ensure the routing does not touch another hose or other object. Note: If the hose contacts any objects, it can reduce the life of the hose, or result in a leak or rupture of the hose during operation. Reference Image1.1.2 for arrows and callout locations. |
