Usage:
NOTE: The following story is typical of the brake valves available for this machine.
NOTE: Mark all wires as to their location for installation purposes.
1. Disconnect three wires (1) from the pressure switch and solenoid circuit.
NOTE: Mark all hoses as to their location for installation purposes.
2. Disconnect and plug three hose assemblies (2).
3. Remove two bolts (3) and the brake valve.
NOTE: Install in reverse order.
Disassemble And Assemble Brake Valve (S/N 6JD112 - 173)
Start By:
a. remove brake valve
1. Remove two caps (1) and solenoid coils (2). Unscrew the coil stems from the brake valve body. Remove two O-rings (3) and (4), and seal (5) from the stem. O-ring (3), which is harder than O-ring (4), is referred to as a back-up O-ring and is located at the bottom of the solenoid stem.
2. Remove pressure switch (6).
NOTE: Do not change any of the settings on the top of the relief valve.
3. Remove relief valve (7). Remove O-rings (8) from the stem of the relief valve.
NOTE: Do not change any of the settings on the top of the check valve.
4. Remove accumulator (9) and check valve (10).
5. Inspect the O-ring seals for wear or damage. Replace as required. Thoroughly clean and inspect all components for wear or damage. Replace as required.
NOTE: Assemble in reverse order.

a. install brake valve
Disassemble & Assemble Brake Valve (S/N 6JD174 - Up)
Start By:
a. remove brake valve
1. Remove pressure switch (4), reducer (5) and snubber (6).
2. Remove check valve (3).
3. Remove solenoid coil (1) and valve spool (2).
NOTE: Assemble in reverse order.
End By:
a. install brake valve
