Vibratory System Filter Assembly

Usage:

Remove And Install Vibratory System Filter Assembly

------ WARNING! ------

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

--------WARNING!------

1. Drain the hydraulic tank. The capacity of the tank is 132 liters (35 U.S. gallons).

2. Remove four bolts (1) and set the hoses to the side.

3. Remove eight bolts (2) and pull the filter assembly out of the hydraulic tank about six inches.

4. Remove six bolts (3) and remove the filter head.

5. Hold plate (4) and slide filter bowl (5) out of the hydraulic tank.

NOTE: To install vibratory system filter assembly, reverse the removal steps. Use 8T9014 Sealant on assembly.

Disassemble And Assemble Vibratory System Filter Assembly

Start By:

a. remove vibratory system filter assembly

1. Remove gasket (1) and check valve (2).

2. Loosen six bolts (3) and turn cover (4) counter clockwise to remove.

3. Remove the O-ring from cover (5). Remove O-ring (6) from the rear of the filter head. Remove diverter/bypass valve assembly (7) from the filter head.

4. Remove O-ring (11) from the diverter/bypass valve assembly.

5. Remove pin (10) from handle (9) and slide the handle out of the diverter/bypass valve assembly and tube (8).

NOTE: To assemble vibratory system filter assembly, reverse the disassembly steps.
