Vibratory Pump

Usage:

Remove And Install Vibratory Pump

Start By:

a. remove lower left-hand side panel

------ WARNING! ------

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

--------WARNING!------

NOTE: Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering system.

1. Remove two hydraulic lines (1) and (3). Remove four bolts (2).

2. Remove the pump from the pump drive.

NOTE: To install the vibratory pump, reverse the removal steps.

a. install lower left-hand side panel

Disassemble And Assemble Vibratory Pump

Start By:

a. remove vibratory pump

1. Remove the nuts and washers from studs (1).

2. Remove the front cover.

3. Remove front wear plate (2).

4. Remove retainer (3).

5. Remove gland seal (4).

6. Remove seal (5). Using tool (B), remove the retainer and seal under seal (5).

NOTE: For assembly purposes, both seals in Step 6 have lips facing the inside of the pump. Use tool (A) for installation of seals.

7. Remove drive and driven gears (6).

8. Remove center section (7).

9. Remove rear wear plate (8).

10. Remove retainer (9).

11. Remove seal (10).

NOTE: Apply a light coat of hydraulic oil to all parts prior to reassembly.

NOTE: A set of matching notches is located on the rear cover, the rear wear plate and the center section. A second set of matching notches is located on the front cover, the front wear plate and the center section. Use these notches to ensure the parts are installed in their original positions.

NOTE: For assembly of the vibratory pump, reverse the disassembly steps.

a. install vibratory pump
