Steer Cylinder
Usage:
Remove And Install Steer Cylinder

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. |
NOTE: Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for installation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering the hydraulic system.
1. Place the steering frame lock link (1) in the locked position.
2. Remove the pin from the rod end of the cylinder.
3. Remove three hydraulic lines (3).
4. Remove pin (4) and remove the cylinder.
NOTE: To install the steer cylinder, reverse the removal steps.
