Propel System Relief Valve

Usage:

Remove And Install Propel System Relief Valve

------ WARNING! ------

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

--------WARNING!------

NOTE: Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering the hydraulic system.

1. Remove two hydraulic lines (2).

2. Remove six bolts (1) and remove the valve.

NOTE: To install propel system relief valve, reverse the removal steps.

Disassemble And Assemble Propel System Relief Valve

Start By:

a. remove propel system relief valve

1. Remove two plugs (1), two springs (2), two washers (3) and spool (4).

2. Remove two O-rings (5) from plugs (1).

3. Remove valve (6) and O-ring (8). Remove O-ring and two back-up rings (7) from valve (6).

4. Repeat Step 3 on valve (9).

5. Remove cover (10), screw (14), plug (11), plunger (12), spring (13), and valve (17).

6. Remove O-ring (15) from plug (11). Remove O-ring (16) from plunger (12).

7. Remove two O-rings (19) from holes (18). Remove orifice (20) and O-ring (21) from hole (22).

NOTE: To assemble propel system relief valve, reverse the disassembly steps.

End By:

a. install propel system relief valve
