Usage:
Start By:
a. remove hood
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. |
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank by slowly loosening the pressure cap located on the top of the tank.
2. Drain the hydraulic tank. The capacity of the tank is 132 liters (35 U.S. gal).
NOTE: Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent contaminants from entering the system.
3. Remove five hydraulic lines (1).
4. Remove three hydraulic lines (2) and wire (3).
5. Remove six hydraulic lines (4).
6. Disconnect wires (5) and four hydraulic lines (6) to valve. Remove two hydraulic lines (7) from the filter base.
7. Remove five bolts (8). Attach hoist and remove the tank. The weight of the tank is 118 kg (260 lb).
NOTE: For installation of the hydraulic tank, reverse the removal steps.
