Usage:
preparatory step:
a) remove heat exchanger
1. Disconnect vent line (2) from the expansion tank.
2. Disconnect the water inlet line (1) from the expansion tank.
3. Remove the overflow tube clamp retaining bolts.
4. Disconnect the water outlet line (4) from the expansion tank.
5. Install two 3/8"-16NC forged eyebolts in the top of the expansion tank and attach a hoist.
6. Remove the expansion tank mounting bolts (3) and remove the expansion tank-weight 185 lb. (84 kg).
Install Marine Engine Expansion Tank
1. Position the expansion tank on the engine and install the tank mounting bolts.
2. Remove the hoist and eyebolts.
3. Connect the water inlet line to the expansion tank.
4. Install the overflow tube clamp retaining bolts.
5. Connect the water outlet line to the expansion tank.
6. Connect the vent line to the expansion tank.
