preparatory step:

a) remove turbocharger (marine engine)

1. Loosen hose clamp (2) to disconnect water supply line.

2. Loosen the exhaust manifold water outlet line hose clamps (1).

3. Remove exhaust manifold retaining nuts (3).

NOTE: A crows foot wrench (4) is required to remove the top row of manifold retaining nuts.

4. Attach a hoist and remove the exhaust manifold-weight 105 lbs. (47,6 kg).

Install Marine Engine Water Cooled Exhaust Manifold

1. Attach a hoist and position the exhaust manifold on the engine.

2. Coat the manifold mounting studs with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound and install the retaining nuts.

3. Tighten the exhaust manifold water outlet line hose clamps.

4. Tighten the hose clamp on the water supply line.
