Oil Pan Base
Usage:
Remove Oil Pan Base
1. Drain the jacket water cooling system.
2. Drain the oil pan base - capacity 35.5 U.S. gal. (134 liter).
3. Remove the oil pan base-to-cylinder block mounting bolts (1).
4. Attach a hoist and raise the engine straight up - weight 6000 lbs. (2722 kg). Remove the oil pan base from under the engine.
Install Oil Pan Base
1. Position the oil pan base under the engine.
2. Lower the engine onto the oil pan base.
3. Install oil pan base mounting bolts.
4. Fill the crankcase to specified capacity.
5. Fill the jacket water cooling system.
