Fuel Filter Housing

Usage:

Remove Fuel Filter Housing

preparatory step:

a) remove expansion tank

1. Drain the fuel filter housing.

2. Remove gauge panel rear cover (4). Disconnect fuel pressure gauge sensing line (6) from gauge and from fuel filter housing.

3. Disconnect fuel injection pump housing fuel return line (7) from filter housing.

4. Disconnect fuel transfer pump fuel outlet line (3) from filter housing.

5. Disconnect fuel injection pump housing fuel supply line (5) from filter housing.

6. Disconnect fuel return-to-tank line (2) from filter housing.

7. Disconnect fuel filter housing bleed line (1) from housing.

8. Attach a hoist to the filter housing. Remove the four filter housing mounting bolts. Remove the fuel filter housing - weight 70 lbs. (32 kg).

Install Fuel Filter Housing

1. Attach a hoist and position the fuel filter housing on engine. Install four mounting bolts.

2. Connect bleed line-to-filter housing.

3. Connect fuel return-to-tank line to fuel filter housing.

4. Connect fuel injection pump housing fuel supply line to filter housing.

5. Connect fuel transfer pump fuel outlet line to fuel filter housing.

6. Connect fuel injection pump housing fuel return line to fuel filter housing.

7. Connect fuel pressure gauge sensing line to the filter housing and to gauge. Install gauge panel rear cover.

concluding step:

a) install expansion tank
