Water Temperature Regulators

Usage:

Remove Water Temperature Regulators

1. Drain the jacket water cooling system.

2. Remove the expansion tank vent line (1).

3. Remove the water temperature regulator housing water outlet elbow (2) and pipe (3).

4. Remove the right exhaust manifold heat shield front water outlet line (4).

5. Remove the water temperature regulator housing water bypass line (5).

6. Remove aftercooler raw water outlet line (6).

7. Remove the right aftercooler sleeve assembly (7).

8. Remove the right water temperature regulator housing mounting bolts (8).

9. Remove the right water temperature regulator housing (9).

10. Remove the regulators (10) from right housing.

11. Remove the left aftercooler raw water outlet line (11).

12. Remove the left exhaust manifold heat shield front water outlet line (12).

13. Remove the left water temperature regulator housing mounting bolts.

14. Remove the left water temperature regulator housing (13).

15. Remove the regulators from left housing.

Install Water Temperature Regulators

1. Install the water temperature regulators in the left housing.

2. Position the left water temperature regulator housing (1) on engine, and install mounting bolts.

3. Install the left exhaust manifold heat shield front water outlet line.

4. Install the left aftercooler raw water outlet line.

5. Install the water temperature regulators in right housing.

6. Position the right water temperature regulator housing on engine. Install mounting bolts.

7. Install right aftercooler sleeve assembly (2).


NOTICE

Be sure that the drain hole in sleeve assembly is in downward position.


8. Install the aftercooler raw water outlet line.

9. Install the water temperature regulator housing water bypass line (3).

10. Install the right exhaust manifold heat shield front water outlet line.

11. Install the water temperature regulator housing water outlet elbow (4) and pipe (5).

12. Install the expansion tank vent line.

13. Fill the jacket water cooling system.
