Never attempt adjustments while the machine is moving or the engine is running unless otherwise specified. The machine must be parked on a level surface and the engine stopped. Attach a "Do Not Operate" or similar warning tag to the start switch and controls before servicing, repairing, or making adjustments to the machine. |

- Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.
- Move propel lever (3) to the NEUTRAL position.

- Rotate speed dial (2) to the MINIMUM position.
- Move parking brake switch (1) to the ON position.
- Move screed lift switch (4) to the RAISE position. Completely lift the screed.

- Engage screed lock mechanism (5) on both sides of the machine.

- Move screed lift switch (4) to the FLOAT position.
Note: The screed lift switch on the inactive instrument panel must also be in the FLOAT position in order to lower the screed.
- Move right screed extend switch (7) to the EXTEND position. Release the switch when the right screed extender is fully extended.

- Move left screed extend switch (6) to the EXTEND position. Release the switch when the left screed extender is fully extended.
- Move throttle control switch (8) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.

- After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (9) to the OFF position.
- Install a small piece of reflective tape (10) from Tool (A) on the right conveyor bearing.

- Move screed lift switch (4) to the HOLD position.
- Move engine start switch (9) to the START position. Release the engine start switch when the engine starts.
- Move throttle control switch (8) to the HIGH IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2200 rpm.
- Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on the operator display. Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 ± 5.6 °C (110 ± 10 °F).

- Press home key (11) .
- Press down key (12) until "Service" is highlighted on the display screen.

- Press OK key (13) in order to begin the calibration.
- Move parking brake switch (1) to the ON position.

- Press OK key (13) .
- Rotate right conveyor speed dial (17) to the MINIMUM position.

- Press OK key (13) .
- Rotate right conveyor speed dial (17) clockwise until the right conveyor just begins to operate.

- Press OK key (13) .
- Rotate right conveyor speed dial (17) clockwise until the speed of the right conveyor reaches 65 ± 3 rpm. Use Tool (A) to measure the speed.

- Press OK key (13) .
- The display should now read "CALIBRATION COMPLETE". Push back key (18) to return to calibration screen.

- Push home key (11) in order to exit the calibration screen.
- Move propel lever (3) to the NEUTRAL position.
- Move right conveyor switch (14) to the OFF position.
- Move right auger switch (15) to the OFF position.
- Move throttle control switch (8) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
- After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (9) to the OFF position.
