(1) 215-1906 Sleeve Bearing

Outside diameter ... 83.135 ± 0.013 mm (3.2730 ± 0.0005 inch)

(2) Torque for the plug ... 25 ± 6 N·m (18 ± 4 lb ft)

Note: Lubricate the threads of the head with clean grease before assembly.

(3) Torque for the head ... 600 ± 130 N·m (440 ± 95 lb ft)

Note: After assembly, the sleeve bearings must not extend beyond either side face of the rod assembly.

(4) 213-6682 Sleeve Bearing

(B) Outside diameter of the piston over two lands ... 120.15 ± 0.03 mm (4.730 ± 0.001 inch)

(C) Bore of the cylinder assembly ... 120.65 ± 0.08 mm (4.750 ± 0.003 inch)

(D) Bore of the head over four lands ... 65.28 ± 0.03 mm (2.570 ± 0.001 inch)

(E) Diameter of the rod assembly ... 64.950 ± 0.038 mm (2.5571 ± 0.0015 inch)

(5) Torque for the socket setscrew ... 25 ± 6 N·m (18 ± 4 lb ft)

Note: Apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the retainer before assembly.

(6) Torque for the retainer ... 35 ± 5 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft)

(7) Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant to the bottom of the connector plate before assembly.

(8) Lubricate the sealing lip of the buffer seal assembly lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(9) Lubricate the sealing lip of the U-cup seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(10) Lubricate the sealing lip of the wiper seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(11) Apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the wiper seal groove before assembly.

(12) Torque for two bolts ... 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft)

(F) Protrusion of the spring pin in the cap and bearing assembly ... 2 mm (0.1 inch)
