PROBLEM
Show/hide table
Hydraulic fan system back pressure spikes can damage the fan motor shaft seal on certain 16M Motor Graders operating in cold weather. The 343-3106 or 254-5690 Fan Seal Kits used in the 304-1005 Motor Gp-Gear have been replaced with a new 3431211/">343-1211 Fan Seal Kit. Additionally, the hydraulic case drain to tank line routing has been changed.
In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 24% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.
