Installation of 484-6924 Guard Kit on Certain 950M and 962M Medium Wheel Loaders{7051, 7150, 7253} Caterpillar

Wheel Loader:

950M (S/N: EMB1-UP; XCJ1-UP; FTR1-UP; J1S1-UP)

962M (S/N: EJB1-UP; JYD1-UP; J2S1-UP; F2T1-UP)

Introduction

This Special Instruction will provide information on the installation of 484-6924 Kit - Guard .

Note: Use proper lifting device as necessary to support components during installation.

1. Install plate (6) on the underside of the machine platform group using seven screws (13), washers (10), and nuts (8) on each side of the machine.

2. Install plate (5) on the underside of the step group using five bolts (11), washers (10), and nuts (8) on the left-hand side of the machine.

3. Install plate (1) on the underside of the step group using five bolts (11), washers (10), and nuts (8) on the right-hand side of the machine.

4. Install plate (2) and plate (3) using bolts (11), washers (10), and nuts (8) on the back sides of the stair group.

5. Install sheet assembly (7) to the stair group on the left-hand side of the machine using bolts (11), bolts (12), washers (10), and nuts (8) .

6. Install plate (4) on the right-hand side of the machine using bolts (11), washers (10), and nuts (8) .
