Spring Force Adjustment Allows Hydraulic Levers To Remain In Detent Position {5051}

Usage:

953C (2ZN) Track-Type Loader

Description of Change: The spring force has been increased to allow hydraulic levers to remain in the raise and rackback detent while the cab experiences vibrations.

Adaptable To: In the 126-3697 Control Valve Group, the detent force has been increased from 120 ± 10 N (27 ± 2 lb) to 200 ± 10 N (45 ± 2 lb) to keep the stem in raise and rackback detent. This adjustment is effective with the 953 (2ZN565) Track-Type Loader and is adaptable to earlier machines.

Adjust both 4B-1771 Setscrews on each side of the 6J-9996 Spring so that a force of 200 ± 10 N (45 ± 2 lb) is required to move the valve stem out of the 3G-8419 Detent.
