Larger Washer Used With Tube Clamps On Hydrostatic Transmission Prevents Clamp From Loosening{3218}

Usage:

943 (03Y, 31Y, 04Z, 19Z),
953 (2RB, 1XK, 76Y, 77Y, 78Y, 05Z, 20Z, 44Z),
953B (7KL, 5MK),
963 (29S, 06Z, 11Z, 18Z, 21Z, 48Z),
963B (9BL),
973 (66G, 86G, 90L, 91L, 32Z) Track Loaders

Description of Change: A larger diameter washer is used with the steel tube clamps at the top of the hydrostatic transmission (HPCU). The larger washers extend across the elongated holes in the clamp. This stops the nut from being drawn into the elongated hole as the nut is tightened, preventing the clamp from loosening.

Adaptable To: The new larger diameter 5P-1075 Washer-Hard replaces the smaller diameter 9M-1974 Washer-Hard used with the steel tube clamps in 3G-0368, 3G-5011, and 3G-5973 Lines Groups-Hydrostatic.

The 5P-1075 Washer-Hard is effective with the following models and hydrostatic transmissions identified with HPCU (Serial Numbers): 953B HPCU (4NA8458), 963B HPCU (8EX1117) Track Loaders, and 973 HPCU (8CA2509, 8EA368) Track Loaders. Earlier hydrostatic transmissions for these models, and hydrostatic transmissions for all 943, 953, 963 Track Loaders are adaptable.

Typical lines group. (1) 5P-1075 Washer-Hard.
