Description of Change: New temperature sensors with improved accuracy are now available for use with the Caterpillar Monitoring System. The new sensors prevent false over temperature warnings.

Adaptable To: The new temperature sensors are direct replacements for the former sensors. These sensors monitor hydraulic oil temperature (980G), engine coolant temperature (all models listed) and torque converter oil temperature (980G). Chart A shows the correct replacement part numbers for the former temperature sensors. Chart B lists a partial list of effective serial numbers for the new temperature sensors.
