New Crankshaft Wear Sleeve For Engines With Lip-Type Seals{1160,1161}

Description of Change: A new crankshaft wear sleeve has been released for use with lip-type seals on the above engine models. The lip-type seals are used in earlier eight-cylinder engines, and in conversion groups for all the above models. The new wear sleeve has an improved surface which is expected to increase the service life of the lip-type seal.
Adaptable As: The new 2W1794 Wear Sleeve is a direct replacement for the former 3N7311 Wear Sleeve, which is canceled. For parts service, order the new sleeve and one 7D1979 Seal (O-Ring). The new 2W1794 Wear Sleeve is now part of the 3N8000 (Rear) and 3N8008 (Front) Crankshaft Conversion Seal Groups (Service).
