Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the hydraulic track adjuster. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Adjuster - Remove" in this manual.

1. Thoroughly clean the outside of the hydraulic track adjuster prior to disassembly.

2. Attach a grease gun to fill valve (3). Pump grease through the fill valve and into cylinder (10) in order to remove piston (11). Remove the piston.

3. Remove two rings (6), two backup rings (5), and two O-ring seals (4) from piston (11) .

4. Remove ring (8) and lip type seal (7) from cylinder (10) .

5. Remove two bolts (1) and stopper plate assembly (2) from cylinder (10). Remove relief valve (9) and fill valve (3) from the cylinder (10) .
