Engine Oil Coolers - Disassemble
Start By:
- Remove the engine oil coolers.

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Remove bolts (1) and (3). Remove oil cooler core assembly (2) and the O-ring seals.

Illustration 4 g03777964 - Remove tube (4) and the O-ring seal. Remove elbow (5) and gasket (6). Remove bonnet (7) and gasket (8). Discard the gaskets.
- Repeat step 2 for the opposite end of oil cooler core assembly (2).

Illustration 12 g03778026 - Mark orientation of engine oil cooler cores (21) and brackets (19) for reassembly. Remove bolts (20) and brackets (19) and remove engine oil cooler cores (21).
