Engine Oil Coolers - Remove and Install
- Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.
- Drain the engine oil from the engine oil coolers. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

272 kg (600 lb) . Remove bolts (8) and remove engine oil coolers (9).

Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Install engine oil cooler assembly (9) in the reverse order of removal.
