Introduction

This Special Instruction is used for installing the 450-6188 Solenoid Valve Gp . Do not perform any procedure in the article until you have read and understand the information.

Required Parts

Table 1
Required Parts
Item     Qty     New Part Number     Part Description
1     1     450-6188     Solenoid Valve Gp
2     1     431-0056     Bracket
3     4     5P-0537     Hard Washer
4     2     4F-7957     Bolt
5     2     9S-8750     Nut
6     1     7L-7262     Flared Elbow
7     1     2N-1288     Elbow
8     1     450-3897     Wiring Harness (1)
( 1 ) The 450-3897 Wiring Harness is only needed on engines that already have a prelube solenoid installed. If the engine does not already have the 430-9948 Solenoid Valve Gp installed, then the 450-6188 Solenoid Valve Gp must be ordered. The 450-6188 Solenoid Valve Gp includes the correct harness from the factory.
