New Hydraulic Electronic Control Improves Blade Control

Usage:

WHEEL TRACTORS

SOIL COMPACTORS

LANDFILL COMPACTORS

824G (4SN1-389) WHEEL TRACTORS;
825G (6RN1-335) SOIL COMPACTORS;
826G (7LN1-361) LANDFILL COMPACTORS

Problem:

Certain machines have been assembled with a hydraulic electronic control which exhibits poor durability and reliability.

Solution:

The current hydraulic electronic control must be replaced with an updated hydraulic electronic control. Machines that are currently experiencing significant or repeated failures should replace the hydraulic electronic control immediately.

Although the reliability of the new hydraulic electronic control has been significantly improved, additional improvements to the design are being planned. The new design will improve the service life of the lift springs inside the control.

Due to these factors, choose one of the following two rework options.

NOTE: If you choose Option 1, you will not be able to rework your machine with Option 2.

Option 1

1. Replace the current hydraulic electronic control with the parts listed in the following Tables.

If you elect to replace the hydraulic electronic control with Option 1, contact Large Wheel Loader Service Engineering for information on payment for this rework. Contact the following representatives:

Vito Minneci Nicholas Boss II Service Engineer Product Analyst (630) 859-5752 (630) 859-5942

Option 2

A Before or After Failure Product Support Program will be released to rework those machines not updated through Option 1. This Product Support Program will provide the latest design and components for the new hydraulic electronic control and improve the service life of the lift springs inside the control. The Product Support Program is expected to be available in April of 1999.
