Procedures To Resolve Certain Causes Of Low Drivetrain Power
Usage:
TRACK-TYPE LOADER953C (2ZN) TRACK-TYPE LOADER
Problem:
The machine does not reach full track speed, even after the S/D lever is incresed to 100%.
Solution:
- 1. Set the high idle to the proper specification. See Service Manual for procedure. Complaints of low power in the hydrostatic transmission can many times be traced to engine problems.
- 2. Perform the maximum track speed calibration procedure on page 145 of Service Manual SENR8314-01 "Hydrostatic Transmission additional warning lamp". Engineering is working on a permanent solution to this problem.
