Correction To Service Letter, PI3192, "The Software Needs To Be Updated On Certain 992G Wheel Loaders"

Usage:

WHEEL LOADERS992G (7HR1-123, 7HR125-208, 7HR210-217, 7HR221, 7HR226-230, 7HR233) WHEEL LOADERS

Problem:

The software part numbers called off in PI3192 were incorrectly published in SIS Web and on SIS CD's.

Solution:

In Service Letter, PI3192, the following information should be included under the section titled SOFTWARE REQUIRED:

NOTE: Corrections to this Service Letter will be made on SIS Web immediately. Corrections to this Service Letter will be made on SIS CD's on the January release.

Use charts below to select correct software.

Order all 992G software (except engine) through the parts system. You have the option to receive it via floppy disk or electronically via Hyper Access. See Service Magazine SEPD0402-00 dated 2/2/98 for electronic transfer information.

Get Engine software from SIS (setup and tool disk.) It will become available on SIS disks October 98. You can also get software immediately via electronic transfer. See Service Magazine SEPD0355-00 dated 4/21/97 Page 3 (Software Files) for details on electronic transfer.
