Usage:
994 (9YF) Wheel Loaders
Description of Change: A new sight gauge is used to check the hydraulic oil level in the hydraulic tank. This makes checking the hydraulic oil level easier. Formerly a dip stick was used. The sight gauge also helps prevent hydraulic oil from escaping the system if the dip stick is not installed or installed correctly. This change will improve serviceability and the maintenance of the implement hydraulic oil level.
Adaptable To: The 131-6443 Tank Assembly is effective with 994 (9YF116) Wheel Loader. The former tank assembly is adaptable to all earlier machines with the addition of the sight gauge. Refer to the chart for the parts needed and Illustration 1 and Illustration 2 to retrofit the former tank assembly for installation of the sight gauge to the side of the Non-Engine End Frame (NEEF).
