---|
When performing maintenance above ground level, always use appropriate devices such as extendable handles, ladders and man lift machines. |
The use of self propelled cleaning agents are prohibited and should not be used to clean the windows based on the highly reactive chemical composition that will damage the windows. However, the use of Ammonia Free Windex is an approved product.

Wash polycarbonate windows with mild soap and water. Never use a cleaning solvent on polycarbonate windows. Never wipe dust in a dry state, as polycarbonate windows can be easily scratched. |

- Immediately rinse thoroughly with lukewarm clean water. To prevent water spots, thoroughly dry the glazing with a dry soft cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Do not use high alkaline cleaners (high pH or ammoniated cleaners).
- Do not leave cleaners sitting on polycarbonate for periods of time. Wash off immediately with warm clean water.
- Do not apply cleaners under direct sunlight or at elevated temperatures.
- Do not clean your polycarbonate with any unapproved cleaners. When in doubt, seek guidance. Using scrapers, squeegees, razors or other sharp instruments may permanently scratch your polycarbonate.
- Do Not Buff the surface. Always avoid dry rubbing/cleaning your polycarbonate, as sand and dust particles clinging to the exterior of the glazing may scratch the surface. An Anti-Static Canned-Air Ionizer can reduce electrostatic charge buildup on polycarbonate, therefore reducing dirt and dust buildup that would hinder cleaning.
Note: The edges of your polycarbonate windows are not protected by a specialized hard coating. Do not allow cleaning solutions, solvents, or chemicals to come in contact, or pool, along the edges of the windows. Rinse the edges thoroughly with generous amounts of lukewarm clean water.
