Do not tilt the cab when occupied. Before tilting the cab remove all loose articles from the cab, secure all windows and emergency exits, and then close the cab and cab riser doors. Failure to do so can result in personal injury or damage to the machine. |
Note: Always verify that machine is on level ground before tilting cab.

Remove the right-hand cab guard before tilting the cab.

Locate the cab tilt jack rod (1) . The rod is located in the left-hand rear engine compartment. The removal screws (2) for the cab pins are also located in the left-hand rear engine compartment.

Loosen the cab retaining pin hardware, bolts, and washers (3).

Insert the removal screws (4) into the lower left-hand threaded holes to loosen the cab retainers to loosen. Remove the cab retaining pins.

Access the cab tilt pump (5) in the diesel fuel fill compartment.
Place cab tilt jack rod in the cab tilt pump.

Note: When the pump is jacked, the cab will move to the RAISE position.

After making sure that the cab has moved to the highest position, stop jacking pump.

Turn the lever (6) on the side of the cab tilt pump to lower.
When the pump is jacked, the cab will move to the LOWER position.
Note: Slowly lower cab to over center position.

Once cab is lowered, reinstall cab retaining hardware.
Note: Return cab tilt pump jack rod to storage location. Return loosening screws to storage location. Verify that pump lever is returned to raise position.
