The new thermowell has 16 holes for maximized airflow across the sensor body. This increased airflow will eliminate exhaust temperature differential events.

The new 423-4957 Thermowell replaces the 380-0836 Thermowell on the serial numbers listed above.
Note: Do NOT mix the thermowells. The temperature difference between mixed sets of thermowells can lead to engine derates. Use the same thermowell for the whole engine.
The new 423-4957 Thermowell is adaptable back to first production.
