Aftercooler Core

Usage:

Remove Aftercooler Core

1. Remove the coolant from the cooling system.

2. Remove the two bolts (4) and water temperature regulator housing (2).

3. Remove the bolt from clamp (5) that holds tube (7) in place. Loosen the hose clamp (3), and pull the tube away from aftercooler.

4. Remove the four bolts and elbow (1) from housing. Remove the four bolts and adapter (6) from aftercooler cover.

5. Remove the four bolts (8) that hold the support bracket for priming pump in place.

6. Remove elbow (10). Remove the four bolts and adapter (9). Remove the sleeve.

7. Remove the four bolts (12). Remove the bolts (13) that hold cover (11) in place. Remove the aftercooler cover (11).

8. Remove the aftercooler core (14) from housing. Weight of core is 50 lb. (23 kg).

Install Aftercooler Core

1. Put the aftercooler core (1) in position in aftercooler housing.

2. Put cover (2) in position, and install the bolts that hold cover to housing.

3. Install the four bolts (4) that fasten flange (3) to aftercooler cover.

4. Install the adapter, sleeve, and elbow (8) on rear of aftercooler housing.

5. Install the adapter and elbow (6) on front of aftercooler housing.

6. Install water temperature regulator housing (5).

7. Put the breather tube (9) in position, and install the bolt. Tighten hose clamp. Install the four bolts for support bracket (7) for priming pump.

8. Fill cooling system with coolant.
