Two 12 volt batteries are connected in series to supply 24 volt DC power to the machine electrical system. 24 volt power is supplied to fuse (1). The fuse protects batteries (3) from circuit overload between the fuse and the starting motor. Auxiliary start receptacle (2) is available to jump start the machine. When jump cables are connected to the auxiliary start receptacle from a 24 volt DC electrical source, the machine may be started.
The auxiliary start receptacle may also be used as an auxiliary power outlet source to supply 24 volt DC to service equipment.
