NOTE: | This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS44727" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing hydraulic tank fill cap can leak on certain 216B3 and 226B3 Skid Steer Loaders and 247B3 Multi Terrain Loaders. If the existing cap leaks it will result in loss of hydraulic fluid running down the side of the tank. |

1. Check the cap for presence or absence of Date Code marking and Rework marking as show in Image1.1.1. |

a. If no Date Code marking is present then cap is good, no further action is required. b. If there is a Date Code and an X Rework mark then cap is good, no further action is required. c. If there is a Date Code and NO Rework mark then replace with a new cap or rework the existing cap by trimming the tab shown in Image1.2.1 to height of 5.84 +/-0.5 mm (0.23 +/-0.02 in). Note: If using a new cap, confirm that it has acceptable markings as described in "a" or "b", and that tab height meets the requirements specified in "c" before installing on machine. |
