A new hydraulic pump drive hub assembly in the pump mounting group needs to be installed on certain 416B, 426B, 428B, 436B and 438B Backhoe Loaders. The 1155316 Hub Assembly used in the 9R7638 Mounting Group is failing on some backhoes. An improved 1662142 Hub Assembly has been released for parts service. The new hub is made of different material with tighter dimensional tolerance being held to improve run-out.
