NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3198" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3198" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The current plumbing of the air compressor discharge line and system relief valve could cause premature failure of the air compressor on certain PM-565 and PM-565B Cold Planers.

Rework Procedure
1. Release all air pressure from the air tanks before starting this update.
2. Remove the 133-0750 Hose, from the discharge side of the air compressor and at the right hand side of the air tanks.
3. At the right side of the air tanks, remove 8C-1971 Relief Valve, 5P-8753 Tee, 004-7270 Nipple, 8T-9958 Check Valve and 004-7626 Connector (this part will be reused).
4. Install the 004-7626 Connector (removed in Step 3) into the boss at the right side of the air tanks.
5. Install the new discharge hose 138-2583 between the discharge side of the compressor and the right side of the air tanks. (90 degree hose end connects to the tank).
6. Disconnect hose 107-9392 from the elbow located at the top of the right hand tank.
7. Remove and save the elbow at the top of the right hand tank.
8. Install 002-5299 Tee, into the top of the right hand tank. orient the tee so as to point to the front and rear of the machine.
9. Install 3B-7722 Bushing and 6B-9664 Relief Valve into the left end of the tee.
10. Install 2T-2396 Elbow (removed in Step 7) into right end of tee. elbow should point towards the rear of the air tanks with a slight upward angle.
11. Reconnect 107-9392 Hose to elbow at the end of the tee. adjust hose to eliminate any interference.
12. Run system and check for leaks.
