NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3204" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3204" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The clips used to prevent battery cable movement on certain D25D, D30D, D250E, D300E, D350E, and D400E Articulated Trucks may not be correct for the size of the outer diameter of the battery cables used. New clips need to be installed to prevent cable movement.

Rework Procedure
Group 1
Remove 14 x 9M8406 Clips installed on the 102-1990 Battery Group on D25D and D30D Trucks. Re-install 14 x 6D3479 Clips as shown in Illustration 1 for 102-1990 Battery Group. Pay attention to orientation of clips removed and install replacement clips in the same orientation.
Group 2
Remove 10 x 9M8406 Clips installed in the 116-6454 Battery Group on D250E and D300E Trucks. Re-install 10 x 6D3479 Clips as shown in Illustration 2 for 116-6454 Battery Group. Pay attention to orientation of clips removed and install replacement clips in the same orientation.
Group 3
Remove 10 x 9M8406 Clips installed on the 123-7900 Battery Group on D350E and D400E Trucks. Re-install 10 x 6D3479 Clips as shown in Illustration 3 for 123-7900 Battery Group. Pay attention to the orientation of clips removed and install replacement clips in the same orientation.
