Rework Procedure
1. Remove the hydraulic feed and return hoses at the connection to the lock valve on the hydraulic tow hitch.
2. Collect all excess oil in a suitable container and ensure that all exposed hydraulic connectors are capped off.
3. The method used for the disposal of waste oil, and oil soaked rags and cleaning materials must comply with local environmental regulations.
4. Using suitable lifting equipment remove the existing tow hitch and replace it with a 1377350 Tow Hitch which has a transit pin as part of the design.
5. Reconnect the hydraulic feed and return hoses.
6. Secure the 1412789 Film with the 8T9530 Rivets to the 1283394 Back Plate so that it is visible above the tow hitch connecting pin.
7. To prevent loss use the 1340143 Cable to secure the transit pin to the backplate securing bolt.
8. Secure the 1360999 Duty Chart to the dash panel duty chart clips.
9. Operate the tow hitch up and down to expel any air trapped in the system.
