Action Required
1) Position the right hand undercarriage idler on stable blocking to allow the belt to drop away from the midwheels allowing free midwheel rotation. Apply the tractor parking brake. Chock both undercarriage belts to prevent tractor movement.
2) Remove the (12) 8T-4779 Bolts and (12) 9X-8257 Washers retaining a 1R-1210 Midwheel As. Retain all parts.

4) Reinstall the 1R-1210 Midwheel As., with a 162-8462 Spacer. Retain with the removed (12) 8T-4779 Bolts and (12) 9X-8257 Washers. (Use Illustration 1 as a guideline.)
5) Tighten the bolts in a cross-sequence pattern in three stages. Final tightening torque is 270 N·m (200 lb-ft).
6) Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for each of the remaining midwheel assemblies on the right hand side of the tractor. (The tractor may need to be repositioned to allow free rotation of the midwheels.)
7) Remove the belt chocks. Release the tractor parking brake. Move tractor off idler blocking.
