Rocker Shaft and Pushrod - Remove
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the valve mechanism cover base. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover Base - Remove and Install".
- Put identification marks on each rocker arm and on each pushrod in order to identify the proper location in the engine for installation.

- Remove bolts (1) and bolts (2) . Loosen nuts (4) . Loosen adjusting screws (5) . Remove rocker shaft (3) .

- Remove valve bridges (6) . Remove push rods (7) .
Note: Mark the orientation of valve bridges (6) for installations purposes.
